Normal cotton has short fibers which are prone to pilling but Supima cotton is the world’s top 1st cotton that is grown in selected states in the US.
Grown under strict farming and quality controls, it features extra long staple fibers that makes it softer, smoother and more resistant to pilling as compared to normal cotton. It is more durable and costs much more because it has to be imported.
Supima does possess a natural stretch due to its long staple fibers but its bad in recovery. Like if you stretch it, it will not bounce back to its original shape.
